Botox

Botox is one of the most popular non-surgical procedures performed for facial wrinkles. It’s a series of small injections of an FDA approved purified protein. It works by paralyzing the muscles that cause frown lines. It’s recommended that you receive botox injections every three months.

What is Botox?
Botox is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet lines in adults. It is one of the most extensively studied medical aesthetic treatments and is approved for cosmetic use in 78 countries.

How does it work?
Botox targets the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. It will be injected into these muscles to temporarily reduce muscle activity.

How long does it take?
The injection process takes about 10 minutes.

When will I see results?
You may see results 24 to 48 hours later but give it up to two weeks for the finished product.

How long does Botox last?
It’s recommended that you come back every three to four months.
