What is Sculptra?

Sculptra is known as a liquid facelift. The injectable material Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid, which is biocompatible (does not harm the body) and biodegradable (can be broken down by the body).

How does Sculptra work?

Sculptra is an injectable solution that aims to restore and correct facial fat loss by replacing its volume. Human or animal sources are not used, nor does a skin test need to be performed. Most people require three injection sessions spaced six weeks apart to see the full effect. Because of the swelling caused by injections and the water used to dilute the product, your first treatment may appear that Sculptra is working immediately. What are possible adverse effects?
