CHEMICAL PEELS
Chemical peels are treatments that remove the skin’s outer surface using a type of chemical peeling process. When skin cells mature, they rise to the top, where dead skin cells usually fall to make room for the newer ones. Sometimes dead skin cells accumulate on the surface of the skin. Peels help remove this layer and portions of layers beneath, allowing new tissue to form with fewer flaws.
Peel treatments involve a special type of chemical suspension in a solution being applied to the treatment area. Based on how your skin responds during treatment, the length of time your peel will be in contact with your skin will be determined.
During your initial consultation at Pam Chaney Aesthetics, you will be able to talk about any aesthetic concerns you may have. We will discuss your medical history in order to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for a peel treatment.
