PDO THREAD LIFTS
PDO Thread Lifts are non-surgical treatments that use polydioxanone (PDO) threads to lift and tighten sagging skin. PDO Threads can be used to treat wrinkles, pore size, scars, stretch marks, loose skin, and cellulite. The threads are inserted into the subdermal tissue and then lifted. The threads will dissolve over the next six months, creating collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which helps the skin become thicker, tighter, and smoother. PDO threads can be used to treat the face, neck, arms, abdomen, breasts, butt, thighs, etc.
The procedure is generally well tolerated with minimal pain, and only takes about 30 minutes per treatment session. The results are immediate, which means patients can go back to work immediately after the treatment. Since there is no downtime, it is very popular with busy people. The results are immediate and generally last for around 18 months to two years (depending on the patient).
Since this type of facelift does not involve surgery or anesthesia, there is no risk of anesthesia-related death. Compared to more invasive procedures like facelift surgery, which is often a longer recovery period, this type of facelift is actually significantly better.
